ABOUT ASSIDĒRE
WELLBEING
Individuals, couples, and families suffer from different mental health issues, and we become their beacon of hope to shine in their lives again. We listen, discuss, create trust, give love and affection, and find lost tracks to motivate and encourage them, and nurture them to healthy life patterns.
Why Assidēre
Wellbeing?
The name “Assidēre Wellbeing” is inspired by the Latin word Assidēre, which means “to sit beside,” which reflects us in social work practices. It echoes our core philosophy to provide compassionate, client-centred care to you throughout the healing journey
At Assidēre Wellbeing, we believe in the power of support, empathy, and understanding. We believe in “walking alongside you” by offering guidance and encouragement as you navigate challenges and work toward achieving mental, emotional, and overall well-being.

hello, I'm Ewuresi ofori, founder of assidere wellbeing
I am an accredited Mental Health Social Worker with over 10 years of professional experience. I hold a Master of Social Work degree, Master of Business Administration (HR), and have extensive training in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including;
● Cognitive behavioural Therapy (CBT)
● Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
● Motivational Interviewing
● Dialectical behaviour Therapy (DBT)
● Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
My diverse experience settings include:
● Community Mental Health Services
● Family Services
● Child Welfare (Child Protection)
● Communities and Hospital Social Work
These diverse settings gave me a deep understanding of the systemic and individual factors that impact mental health. This experience has equipped me with the expertise to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring a comprehensive approach to client care.
my expertise authority
I am an approved counsellor for “State-based Victims Services Programs” and specialise in “Trauma-Informed Care” for victims of crime, including individuals affected by family, domestic violence, sexual assault, grief from homicide, and other sensitive issues. Additionally, I work extensively with “Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CaLD)” communities, integrating cultural competence into my practice to meet the unique requirements of clients from diverse backgrounds.
I offer personalised, trauma-informed support tailored to diverse needs and life stages. While I reside in Perth, my services are accessible to clients beyond my immediate location through online platforms, telehealth, and video consultations, ensuring flexibility and convenience for those living in urban, regional, or remote areas. This approach allows me to support a wide demographic, irrespective of geographic constraints.
